Does DUMAC Business Systems connect to Google local inventory and delivery apps?
Yes, by request. DUMAC Business Systems is not in Zachcart's live directory yet, but if it can track a sale we can connect it. We build new integrations in days, not quarters, using the Remote Connector pathway. Request it and we review your install; once connected, your items, counts and prices publish to Google Search, Maps and Shopping and to the checkout channels Zachcart enables. Connecting is free; Zachcart takes 2% on orders it brings you.
What DUMAC Business Systems is
DUMAC Business Systems is a point-of-sale system used in grocery, convenience and fuel retail. It is a hybrid system with on-site components, aimed at small and mid-sized retailers.
How the integration works
DUMAC Business Systems is a hybrid system with on-site components, so it uses Zachcart's Remote Connector pathway, the same one that reaches legacy systems no API touches.
- 01Remote install.
We install a lightweight connector on your DUMAC Business Systems server in a scheduled session. No site visit.
- 02Database read.
The connector reads items, quantities and prices from DUMAC Business Systems. It does not write back.
- 03Live sync.
Changes at the register flow to your online listings continuously, so a shopper never drives to an empty shelf.
What a DUMAC Business Systems store gets
The same inventory feed powers the checkout channels Zachcart enables, so an order is placed against live counts, not a copy of last week's menu.
When someone searches a product you stock plus "near me", your store appears with "in stock" — the signal the chains already show.
Every item gets a page under your store name, not a marketplace's.
Which products people search for in your area and whether you carry them.
Grocery & markets: what decides the integration
Independent grocery runs on LOC SMS, ECRS Catapult (600+ stores on Cognition alone), IT Retail, Markt POS, Vori and generalist systems, while chains run NCR Voyix, Toshiba, GK and Oracle. No enterprise grocery POS is on Google's free Local Inventory list. Instacart is effectively closed to POS-native catalog sync in public sources: its only named POS partners, DUMAC and TRUNO, integrate Caper smart carts rather than the marketplace catalog, although Markt POS, IT Retail and Vori describe Instacart integrations on their own pages. Ethnic and specialty markets sit on a long tail of small cloud systems. For an independent grocer the practical gap is the same everywhere: the register knows what is on the shelf and the apps do not.
What we touch, and what we don't
- ✓We read items, counts and prices.
- ✓We leave pricing logic, loyalty, supplier programs and counter workflow exactly as they are.
- ✓Your reseller or vendor does not need to be involved, though we will work with them if you prefer.
- ✓DUMAC Business Systems already reports a connector to Instacart (per the platform or vendor page, Caper cart only, not the marketplace catalog). Zachcart does not replace it; it adds Google local inventory, store-branded pages and the other checkout channels from one live feed, and keeps every channel on the same counts.
