Does c-Systems connect to Google local inventory and delivery apps?
Yes, by request. c-Systems is not in Zachcart's live directory yet, but if it can track a sale we can connect it. We build new integrations in days, not quarters, using the API or Remote Connector (confirmed at technical intro) pathway. Request it and we review your install; once connected, your items, counts and prices publish to Google Search, Maps and Shopping and to the checkout channels Zachcart enables. Connecting is free; Zachcart takes 2% on orders it brings you.
What c-Systems is
c-Systems is a point-of-sale system used in garden and farm, other retail, sold by Constellation Software Inc. It is a system whose deployment we confirm with you, aimed at small and mid-sized retailers.
How the integration works
c-Systems is deployed in more than one way, so the pathway depends on your install: cloud installs connect by API, Windows or server installs through the Remote Connector. We confirm which in a short technical intro.
- 01Technical intro.
A 20-minute call to confirm how your system is deployed and which departments you want online.
- 02Connect.
API authorization for a cloud install, or a remotely installed connector for a server install. Either way, no site visit and nothing changes at the counter.
- 03Live sync.
Changes at the register flow to your online listings continuously, so a shopper never drives to an empty shelf.
What a c-Systems store gets
When someone searches a product you stock plus "near me", your store appears with "in stock" — the signal the chains already show.
Every item gets a page under your store name, not a marketplace's.
Which products people search for in your area and whether you carry them.
The same inventory feed powers the checkout channels Zachcart enables, so an order is placed against live counts, not a copy of last week's menu.
Garden, farm & pool: what decides the integration
Garden centers mostly run generalist POS (28% of independents had no POS at all before COVID), and the garden-specific integrations are plant databases and tag printing rather than channels. Farm and ag retail runs Agvance (3,800+ locations, company-reported), AgVantage, Merchant Ag and Store Manager ES. Pool and spa stores pick POS by water-testing integration: LOU by Evosus (a BioGuard ALEX partner) and RB Pool & Spa POS lead, with POOLCORP's Pool360 pulling integration toward the distributor, and the QuickBooks POS sunset in October 2023 set off a replacement cycle. None of these systems is on Google's free Local Inventory list or has a native delivery connector, so a shopper searching for a plant, a part or a chemical cannot see which store has it.
What we touch, and what we don't
- ✓We read items, counts and prices.
- ✓We leave pricing logic, loyalty, supplier programs and counter workflow exactly as they are.
- ✓Your reseller or vendor does not need to be involved, though we will work with them if you prefer.
