BY REQUESTREMOTE CONNECTOR

Does Agvance connect to Google local inventory and delivery apps?

Yes, by request. Agvance is not in Zachcart's live directory yet, but if it can track a sale we can connect it. We build new integrations in days, not quarters, using the Remote Connector pathway. Request it and we review your install; once connected, your items, counts and prices publish to Google Search, Maps and Shopping and to the checkout channels Zachcart enables. Connecting is free; Zachcart takes 2% on orders it brings you.

What Agvance is

Agvance is a point-of-sale system used in garden and farm retail, sold by Software Solutions Integrated LLC (private). It is a hybrid system with on-site components, aimed at mid-market, enterprise retailers. The company reports 3,800+ ag retail locations; 25,000+ users: a company-reported figure that has not been independently verified and not necessarily current, so read it as a signal of scale rather than an audited base.

How the integration works

Agvance is a hybrid system with on-site components, so it uses Zachcart's Remote Connector pathway, the same one that reaches legacy systems no API touches.

  1. 01
    Remote install.

We install a lightweight connector on your Agvance server in a scheduled session. No site visit.

  2. 02
    Database read.

The connector reads items, quantities and prices from Agvance. It does not write back.

  3. 03
    Live sync.

Changes at the register flow to your online listings continuously, so a shopper never drives to an empty shelf.

What a Agvance store gets

Near-me, in-stock visibility.

When someone searches a product you stock plus "near me", your store appears with "in stock" — the signal the chains already show.

Store-branded product pages.

Every item gets a page under your store name, not a marketplace's.

Google retailer insights.

Which products people search for in your area and whether you carry them.

Order-ready pickup and delivery.

The same inventory feed powers the checkout channels Zachcart enables, so an order is placed against live counts, not a copy of last week's menu.

Garden, farm & pool: what decides the integration

Garden centers mostly run generalist POS (28% of independents had no POS at all before COVID), and the garden-specific integrations are plant databases and tag printing rather than channels. Farm and ag retail runs Agvance (3,800+ locations, company-reported), AgVantage, Merchant Ag and Store Manager ES. Pool and spa stores pick POS by water-testing integration: LOU by Evosus (a BioGuard ALEX partner) and RB Pool & Spa POS lead, with POOLCORP's Pool360 pulling integration toward the distributor, and the QuickBooks POS sunset in October 2023 set off a replacement cycle. None of these systems is on Google's free Local Inventory list or has a native delivery connector, so a shopper searching for a plant, a part or a chemical cannot see which store has it.

What we touch, and what we don't

  • ✓We read items, counts and prices.
  • ✓We leave pricing logic, loyalty, supplier programs and counter workflow exactly as they are.
  • ✓Your reseller or vendor does not need to be involved, though we will work with them if you prefer.

Agvance questions, straight answers

No. A lightweight connector is installed on your Agvance server in a scheduled remote session. It reads the database and does not write back; counter workflow is unchanged.
