Does Gearfire AXIS POS connect to Google local inventory and delivery apps?

Yes, by request. Gearfire AXIS POS is not in Zachcart's live directory yet, but if it can track a sale we can connect it. We build new integrations in days, not quarters, using the API pathway. Request it and we review your install; once connected, your items, counts and prices publish to Google Search, Maps and Shopping and to the checkout channels Zachcart enables. Connecting is free; Zachcart takes 2% on orders it brings you.

What Gearfire AXIS POS is

Gearfire AXIS POS is a point-of-sale system used in firearms, sporting goods, outdoor and bike retail, sold by Gearfire (private; Scottsdale, AZ); AXIS originally developed by Retail Technology Group / RTG Holdings, Sauk Rapids, MN (RTG acquired by AURES 2018, AURES now Advantech-AURES); current AXIS ownership chain. It is a cloud system, aimed at small and mid-sized, mid-market retailers. The company reports 2,000+ clients (Gearfire, all products; firearm retailers, ranges, archery pro shops, outdoor specialty stores); 400+ locations using RTG/AXIS systems (2019): a company-reported figure and not necessarily current, so read it as a signal of scale rather than an audited base.

How the integration works

Gearfire AXIS POS is a cloud system, so it uses Zachcart's API pathway. Nothing is installed in the store.

  1. 01
    Authorize.

You grant Zachcart access to your Gearfire AXIS POS account; it takes minutes and your vendor is not required.

  2. 02
    Catalog read.

Zachcart reads items, quantities and prices through the vendor's interface and maps your departments to the channels you choose.

  3. 03
    Live sync.

Changes at the register flow to your online listings continuously, so a shopper never drives to an empty shelf.

What a Gearfire AXIS POS store gets

Near-me, in-stock visibility.

When someone searches a product you stock plus "near me", your store appears with "in stock" — the signal the chains already show.

Store-branded product pages.

Every item gets a page under your store name, not a marketplace's.

Google retailer insights.

Which products people search for in your area and whether you carry them.

Order-ready pickup and delivery.

The same inventory feed powers the checkout channels Zachcart enables, so an order is placed against live counts, not a copy of last week's menu.

Firearms & ranges: what decides the integration

Firearms retail is shaped by the bound book: FastBound integrations and ATF compliance decide the POS more than retail features do. Gearfire AXIS (2,000+ clients across all Gearfire products), Orchid POS, AIM POS, CloudFFL, coreSTORE, MicroBiz GunBiz, POS-BRO and ARMS serve FFL dealers and ranges. No firearms POS is on Google's free Local Inventory list or has a delivery connector. Channel policies on Google Shopping and the delivery apps restrict firearm and ammunition listings, so what a store can publish is set by each channel's policy and is confirmed at the technical intro; accessories, apparel and in-store pickup visibility are the usual starting point.

What we touch, and what we don't

  • ✓We read items, counts and prices.
  • ✓We leave pricing logic, loyalty, supplier programs and counter workflow exactly as they are.
  • ✓Your reseller or vendor does not need to be involved, though we will work with them if you prefer.

Gearfire AXIS POS questions, straight answers
