BY REQUESTAPI OR REMOTE CONNECTOR (CONFIRMED AT TECHNICAL INTRO)

Does Defender POS connect to Google local inventory and delivery apps?

Yes, by request. Defender POS is not in Zachcart's live directory yet, but if it can track a sale we can connect it. We build new integrations in days, not quarters, using the API or Remote Connector (confirmed at technical intro) pathway. Request it and we review your install; once connected, your items, counts and prices publish to Google Search, Maps and Shopping and to the checkout channels Zachcart enables. Connecting is free; Zachcart takes 2% on orders it brings you.

What Defender POS is

Defender POS is a point-of-sale system used in firearms retail. It is a system whose deployment we confirm with you, aimed at small and mid-sized retailers.

How the integration works

Defender POS is deployed in more than one way, so the pathway depends on your install: cloud installs connect by API, Windows or server installs through the Remote Connector. We confirm which in a short technical intro.

  1. 01
    Technical intro.

A 20-minute call to confirm how your system is deployed and which departments you want online.

  2. 02
    Connect.

API authorization for a cloud install, or a remotely installed connector for a server install. Either way, no site visit and nothing changes at the counter.

  3. 03
    Live sync.

Changes at the register flow to your online listings continuously, so a shopper never drives to an empty shelf.

What a Defender POS store gets

Near-me, in-stock visibility.

When someone searches a product you stock plus "near me", your store appears with "in stock" — the signal the chains already show.

Store-branded product pages.

Every item gets a page under your store name, not a marketplace's.

Google retailer insights.

Which products people search for in your area and whether you carry them.

Order-ready pickup and delivery.

The same inventory feed powers the checkout channels Zachcart enables, so an order is placed against live counts, not a copy of last week's menu.

Firearms & ranges: what decides the integration

Firearms retail is shaped by the bound book: FastBound integrations and ATF compliance decide the POS more than retail features do. Gearfire AXIS (2,000+ clients across all Gearfire products), Orchid POS, AIM POS, CloudFFL, coreSTORE, MicroBiz GunBiz, POS-BRO and ARMS serve FFL dealers and ranges. No firearms POS is on Google's free Local Inventory list or has a delivery connector. Channel policies on Google Shopping and the delivery apps restrict firearm and ammunition listings, so what a store can publish is set by each channel's policy and is confirmed at the technical intro; accessories, apparel and in-store pickup visibility are the usual starting point.

What we touch, and what we don't

  • ✓We read items, counts and prices.
  • ✓We leave pricing logic, loyalty, supplier programs and counter workflow exactly as they are.
  • ✓Your reseller or vendor does not need to be involved, though we will work with them if you prefer.

Defender POS questions, straight answers

It depends on how your Defender POS is deployed: cloud installs connect by API, Windows or server installs through the remote connector. We confirm it in a short technical intro before anything is connected.
