BY REQUESTREMOTE CONNECTOR

Does QS/1 connect to Google local inventory and delivery apps?

Yes, by request. QS/1 is not in Zachcart's live directory yet, but if it can track a sale we can connect it. We build new integrations in days, not quarters, using the Remote Connector pathway. Request it and we review your install; once connected, your items, counts and prices publish to Google Search, Maps and Shopping and to the checkout channels Zachcart enables. Connecting is free; Zachcart takes 2% on orders it brings you.

What QS/1 is

QS/1 is a point-of-sale system used in pharmacy retail, sold by RedSail Technologies. It is a hybrid system with on-site components, aimed at small and mid-sized retailers. The company reports within RedSail ~16,000: a company-reported figure, so read it as a signal of scale rather than an audited base. QS/1 is on Google's free Local Inventory app list, which covers the Google side on its own; Zachcart adds the checkout channels and store-branded product pages from the same live feed.

How the integration works

QS/1 is a hybrid system with on-site components, so it uses Zachcart's Remote Connector pathway, the same one that reaches legacy systems no API touches.

  1. 01
    Remote install.

We install a lightweight connector on your QS/1 server in a scheduled session. No site visit.

  2. 02
    Database read.

The connector reads items, quantities and prices from QS/1. It does not write back.

  3. 03
    Live sync.

Changes at the register flow to your online listings continuously, so a shopper never drives to an empty shelf.

What a QS/1 store gets

Near-me, in-stock visibility.

When someone searches a product you stock plus "near me", your store appears with "in stock" — the signal the chains already show.

Store-branded product pages.

Every item gets a page under your store name, not a marketplace's.

Google retailer insights.

Which products people search for in your area and whether you carry them.

Order-ready pickup and delivery.

The same inventory feed powers the checkout channels Zachcart enables, so an order is placed against live counts, not a copy of last week's menu.

Pharmacy: what decides the integration

Independent pharmacy (about 19K stores) is consolidating around RedSail: PioneerRx, QS/1, BestRx and the PrimeRx affiliate reach about 16,000 pharmacies on the company's count, alongside Outcomes (Rx30, Computer-Rx), Liberty, PharmaTill and Auto-Star. Nine of the 24 systems on Google's free Local Inventory list are pharmacy systems, so Google visibility is comparatively well served in this vertical; no pharmacy POS has a confirmed native delivery connector. One trap: the pharmacy management system is not always the front-end POS. Many independents run a separate POS module for the front store, and that module, not the Rx system, is what Zachcart connects.

What we touch, and what we don't

  • ✓We read items, counts and prices.
  • ✓We leave pricing logic, loyalty, supplier programs and counter workflow exactly as they are.
  • ✓Your reseller or vendor does not need to be involved, though we will work with them if you prefer.

QS/1 questions, straight answers

No. A lightweight connector is installed on your QS/1 server in a scheduled remote session. It reads the database and does not write back; counter workflow is unchanged.
