Does Auto-Star Star-Plus connect to Google local inventory and delivery apps?
Yes, by request. Auto-Star Star-Plus is not in Zachcart's live directory yet, but if it can track a sale we can connect it. We build new integrations in days, not quarters, using the Remote Connector pathway. Request it and we review your install; once connected, your items, counts and prices publish to Google Search, Maps and Shopping and to the checkout channels Zachcart enables. Connecting is free; Zachcart takes 2% on orders it brings you.
What Auto-Star Star-Plus is
Auto-Star Star-Plus is a point-of-sale system used in pharmacy, grocery, specialty retail, sold by Auto-Star Compusystems, Inc. It is an on-premises or hybrid system, aimed at small and mid-sized retailers. Auto-Star Star-Plus is on Google's free Local Inventory app list, which covers the Google side on its own; Zachcart adds the checkout channels and store-branded product pages from the same live feed.
How the integration works
Auto-Star Star-Plus is an on-premises or hybrid system, so it uses Zachcart's Remote Connector pathway, the same one that reaches legacy systems no API touches.
- 01Remote install.
We install a lightweight connector on your Auto-Star Star-Plus server in a scheduled session. No site visit.
- 02Database read.
The connector reads items, quantities and prices from Auto-Star Star-Plus. It does not write back.
- 03Live sync.
Changes at the register flow to your online listings continuously, so a shopper never drives to an empty shelf.
What a Auto-Star Star-Plus store gets
When someone searches a product you stock plus "near me", your store appears with "in stock" — the signal the chains already show.
Every item gets a page under your store name, not a marketplace's.
Which products people search for in your area and whether you carry them.
The same inventory feed powers the checkout channels Zachcart enables, so an order is placed against live counts, not a copy of last week's menu.
Pharmacy: what decides the integration
Independent pharmacy (about 19K stores) is consolidating around RedSail: PioneerRx, QS/1, BestRx and the PrimeRx affiliate reach about 16,000 pharmacies on the company's count, alongside Outcomes (Rx30, Computer-Rx), Liberty, PharmaTill and Auto-Star. Nine of the 24 systems on Google's free Local Inventory list are pharmacy systems, so Google visibility is comparatively well served in this vertical; no pharmacy POS has a confirmed native delivery connector. One trap: the pharmacy management system is not always the front-end POS. Many independents run a separate POS module for the front store, and that module, not the Rx system, is what Zachcart connects.
What we touch, and what we don't
- ✓We read items, counts and prices.
- ✓We leave pricing logic, loyalty, supplier programs and counter workflow exactly as they are.
- ✓Your reseller or vendor does not need to be involved, though we will work with them if you prefer.
