What Phorest is

Phorest is a point-of-sale system used in beauty retail. It is a cloud system, aimed at very small to mid-sized, mid-market retailers.

How the integration works

Phorest is a cloud system, so it uses Zachcart's API pathway. Nothing is installed in the store.

Beauty, salon & spa: what decides the integration

Salon, spa and beauty-supply "POS" is usually a module inside appointment software: Vagaro, Boulevard, Mindbody, Genius AI (about 125,000 businesses), Booksy, Phorest, Mangomint and DaySmart Salon carry large user counts and small retail catalogs, while beauty-supply stores run Square, Clover, Shopify POS or NCR Counterpoint through resellers such as POS Highway. Square and Clover are on Google's free Local Inventory list; their delivery connectors are documented for restaurant menus, not retail catalogs. Zachcart publishes the retail shelf (hair care, skincare, tools) and leaves bookings alone.
