BY REQUESTREMOTE CONNECTOR

Does Paladin POS connect to Google local inventory and delivery apps?

Yes, by request. Paladin POS is not in Zachcart's live directory yet, but if it can track a sale we can connect it. We build new integrations in days, not quarters, using the Remote Connector pathway. Request it and we review your install; once connected, your items, counts and prices publish to Google Search, Maps and Shopping and to the checkout channels Zachcart enables. Connecting is free; Zachcart takes 2% on orders it brings you.

What Paladin POS is

Paladin POS is a point-of-sale system used in hardware and home improvement, specialty retail, sold by Paladin Data Corp. (private). It is a hybrid system with on-site components, aimed at small and mid-sized retailers. Paladin POS is on Google's free Local Inventory app list, which covers the Google side on its own; Zachcart adds the checkout channels and store-branded product pages from the same live feed.

How the integration works

Paladin POS is a hybrid system with on-site components, so it uses Zachcart's Remote Connector pathway, the same one that reaches legacy systems no API touches.

  1. 01
    Remote install.

We install a lightweight connector on your Paladin POS server in a scheduled session. No site visit.

  2. 02
    Database read.

The connector reads items, quantities and prices from Paladin POS. It does not write back.

  3. 03
    Live sync.

Changes at the register flow to your online listings continuously, so a shopper never drives to an empty shelf.

What a Paladin POS store gets

Near-me, in-stock visibility.

When someone searches a product you stock plus "near me", your store appears with "in stock" — the signal the chains already show.

Store-branded product pages.

Every item gets a page under your store name, not a marketplace's.

Google retailer insights.

Which products people search for in your area and whether you carry them.

Order-ready pickup and delivery.

The same inventory feed powers the checkout channels Zachcart enables, so an order is placed against live counts, not a copy of last week's menu.

Hardware, lumber & paint: what decides the integration

Hardware POS is chosen by the co-op more than by the store. Ace recommends Epicor Eagle exclusively (3,400+ of 5,300+ stores, 2020), Do it Best names Epicor its POS vendor of choice with ECi RockSolid MAX, ECi Spruce and Profile TransActPOS as compliant vendors, and Orgill-aligned stores lean to Paladin. Epicor's hardware base across Eagle and BisTrack is 9,000+ locations, about 12.5% of the category on company-reported numbers. Paladin and J3 POS are on Google's free Local Inventory list; Epicor reaches Google through the Merchant Center feed-partner program instead. No hardware POS has a confirmed native delivery connector, and Ace's presence on Uber Eats and DoorDash is at banner level with no named POS behind it. Lumber yards run BisTrack, Spruce, DMSi Agility, Ponderosa and Kerridge K8; paint stores run Epicor Decor Fusion.

What we touch, and what we don't

  • ✓We read items, counts and prices.
  • ✓We leave pricing logic, loyalty, supplier programs and counter workflow exactly as they are.
  • ✓Your reseller or vendor does not need to be involved, though we will work with them if you prefer.

Paladin POS questions, straight answers

No. A lightweight connector is installed on your Paladin POS server in a scheduled remote session. It reads the database and does not write back; counter workflow is unchanged.
