Does Microsoft Dynamics RMS connect to Google local inventory and delivery apps?
Yes, by request. Microsoft Dynamics RMS is not in Zachcart's live directory yet, but if it can track a sale we can connect it. We build new integrations in days, not quarters, using the Remote Connector pathway. Request it and we review your install; once connected, your items, counts and prices publish to Google Search, Maps and Shopping and to the checkout channels Zachcart enables. Connecting is free; Zachcart takes 2% on orders it brings you.
What Microsoft Dynamics RMS is
Microsoft Dynamics RMS is a point-of-sale system used in specialty, grocery, liquor, convenience and fuel retail, sold by Microsoft Corp. It is an on-premises, server-based system, aimed at small and mid-sized retailers. Note: end-of-life: Microsoft support ended 2021; Retail Management Hero is the main successor; many stores still run it. Zachcart's remote connector reads the database, so a store still running it can connect without migrating first.
How the integration works
Microsoft Dynamics RMS is an on-premises, server-based system, so it uses Zachcart's Remote Connector pathway, the same one that reaches legacy systems no API touches.
- 01Remote install.
We install a lightweight connector on your Microsoft Dynamics RMS server in a scheduled session. No site visit.
- 02Database read.
The connector reads items, quantities and prices from Microsoft Dynamics RMS. It does not write back.
- 03Live sync.
Changes at the register flow to your online listings continuously, so a shopper never drives to an empty shelf.
What a Microsoft Dynamics RMS store gets
When someone searches a product you stock plus "near me", your store appears with "in stock" — the signal the chains already show.
Every item gets a page under your store name, not a marketplace's.
Which products people search for in your area and whether you carry them.
The same inventory feed powers the checkout channels Zachcart enables, so an order is placed against live counts, not a copy of last week's menu.
Gift, specialty, books & florist: what decides the integration
Gift, specialty, book and florist retail is the longest tail in US retail software: GiftLogic, Rain POS, WooPOS, J3, Keystroke and Artisan in gift and specialty; the Hallmark Gold Crown estate (historically Tomax Retail.net across 2,500+ stores in 2012, unverified today); bookstores on IBID, WordStock, Bookmanager and the ABA IndieCommerce program; florists on Teleflora, FTD Mercury, Lovingly, BloomNation and FloristWare, where the POS is bundled with the wire service. Rain, WooPOS and J3 are on Google's free Local Inventory list; none of these systems has a native delivery connector.
What we touch, and what we don't
- ✓We read items, counts and prices.
- ✓We leave pricing logic, loyalty, supplier programs and counter workflow exactly as they are.
- ✓Your reseller or vendor does not need to be involved, though we will work with them if you prefer.
