Does ComicHub connect to Google local inventory and delivery apps?
Yes, by request. ComicHub is not in Zachcart's live directory yet, but if it can track a sale we can connect it. We build new integrations in days, not quarters, using the API or Remote Connector (confirmed at technical intro) pathway. Request it and we review your install; once connected, your items, counts and prices publish to Google Search, Maps and Shopping and to the checkout channels Zachcart enables. Connecting is free; Zachcart takes 2% on orders it brings you.
What ComicHub is
ComicHub is a point-of-sale system used in books, toys and hobby retail. It is a system whose deployment we confirm with you, aimed at very small to mid-sized retailers. The company reports about 70 stores (2019, global): a company-reported figure that has not been independently verified, not a US-only count and not necessarily current, so read it as a signal of scale rather than an audited base.
How the integration works
ComicHub is deployed in more than one way, so the pathway depends on your install: cloud installs connect by API, Windows or server installs through the Remote Connector. We confirm which in a short technical intro.
- 01Technical intro.
A 20-minute call to confirm how your system is deployed and which departments you want online.
- 02Connect.
API authorization for a cloud install, or a remotely installed connector for a server install. Either way, no site visit and nothing changes at the counter.
- 03Live sync.
Changes at the register flow to your online listings continuously, so a shopper never drives to an empty shelf.
What a ComicHub store gets
When someone searches a product you stock plus "near me", your store appears with "in stock" — the signal the chains already show.
Every item gets a page under your store name, not a marketplace's.
Which products people search for in your area and whether you carry them.
The same inventory feed powers the checkout channels Zachcart enables, so an order is placed against live counts, not a copy of last week's menu.
Gift, specialty, books & florist: what decides the integration
Gift, specialty, book and florist retail is the longest tail in US retail software: GiftLogic, Rain POS, WooPOS, J3, Keystroke and Artisan in gift and specialty; the Hallmark Gold Crown estate (historically Tomax Retail.net across 2,500+ stores in 2012, unverified today); bookstores on IBID, WordStock, Bookmanager and the ABA IndieCommerce program; florists on Teleflora, FTD Mercury, Lovingly, BloomNation and FloristWare, where the POS is bundled with the wire service. Rain, WooPOS and J3 are on Google's free Local Inventory list; none of these systems has a native delivery connector.
What we touch, and what we don't
- ✓We read items, counts and prices.
- ✓We leave pricing logic, loyalty, supplier programs and counter workflow exactly as they are.
- ✓Your reseller or vendor does not need to be involved, though we will work with them if you prefer.
